CJ Burton is a working professional drummer based in Southern California.

From stadium arenas to small club stages, he has played them all. Currently CJ is an independent, Session Musician, and signs on with the occasional tour.

CJ toured the world with Air Supply from 2009-2013, and spent the better part of 5 years playing 140 shows/year. After the Air Supply tour, CJ relocated from Salt Lake City to San Diego, and continues to play full time in all types of gigging and studio scenarios.

CJ has a reputation as a quick learner, and a team player, and is accomplished in styles ranging from Jazz/Fusion, Funk, Pop, Rock and Country.

The ability to lay down a groove to fit the song is Cj’s greatest strength, as well as working efficiently to get the job done.
