Membership
One of the main reasons most studios charge so much is that they have a very low occupancy rate. Because of this, in order to just keep the doors open, they need to charge high hourly rates. Instead, what we do is get a core group of people to split the rent at super low rates, using Paypal's easy to use subscription system.
As soon as you press subscribe, you get access to booking for half the price it normally would be.
Unused studio time will roll over to the next month, and will continue to work even when you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time.
Location
Our studio is located at 10439-D Roselle st. San Diego, CA 92121, south of Del Mar, just a few miles from the beach. It has easy access to the train station, biking trails through the nearby Torrey Pines reserve, and is close to the intersection of the 5, 805, and 56 freeways.
inside the studio
Our studio is designed with the comfort of the musician in mind. We've prioritized making the studio as acoustically and aesthetically pleasing as possible. The trick to creating good music, whether at a practice or recording session, is making the musicians feel comfortable. Even with the best song in the best sounding room with the best microphones and the best instruments and the clearest preamps, if the people creating the music don't feel comfortable, they're not going to be able to give their best performance. That's why we've designed our studio with the comfort of the musician in mind, while simultaneously trying to provide the best sounding room for recordings and practice alike.
